Michael manages sales to agricultural pesticide distributors in the Pacific Northwest and Northern Plains districts of the United States, as well as distributors in Canada.
In preparation for a career in agriculture, Michael earned his bachelor’s degree in agriculture business with a minor in economics at Montana State University. He has managed and worked in sales for multiple regional agriculture cooperatives, which cultivated the path for his career at Liphatech Ag.
Michael loves working in agriculture because it’s in his blood. Outside of working here at Liphatech Ag, he runs a farm and ranch in Montana with his family. There, they grow spring wheat, malt barley, alfalfa and sainfoin and run a herd of Angus cows.
He finds working at Liphatech Ag satisfying because his customers need to protect their crops and pastures from pests, just like he does back at his own farm.
